Igeekphone News August 8, 2026 — The Google Pixel 11 Pro has reportedly appeared in new real-world images ahead of Google’s upcoming Made by Google event, giving consumers an early look at the company’s next-generation flagship smartphone.
Images shared by X account @PixelNewsHub reportedly show a Pixel 11 Pro demonstration unit placed inside its retail packaging. A second set of hands-on images appears to show the phone in a matte black finish. According to the source, the demonstration devices had already reached operators ahead of Google’s official launch event.
Google is expected to introduce the Pixel 11 series on August 13, 2026, although the company has yet to officially confirm the full specifications, pricing, or availability details.
The newly leaked images reportedly show the Pixel 11 Pro in a sand dune colorway, with the handset positioned inside a product box.
Another hands-on image shows what appears to be a matte black version of the flagship. While the authenticity of unofficial leaks cannot be independently confirmed, the physical appearance of the device appears to correspond with previously leaked Pixel 11 Pro renders.
The appearance of what are described as demonstration units is particularly notable because such devices typically indicate that the smartphone is approaching its official launch.
One of the most noticeable changes visible in the latest images concerns the telephoto camera.
The black Pixel 11 Pro shown in the leaked photos reportedly features a circular opening around the telephoto lens. This matches renders that surfaced last month and suggests that Google could be changing the visual design of the telephoto camera compared with the current-generation Pixel 10 Pro.
The Pixel 10 Pro uses a more distinctive square-shaped periscope telephoto lens opening. On the Pixel 11 Pro, Google appears to be moving toward a circular design, potentially creating a cleaner and more symmetrical appearance within the rear camera bar.
Although the Pixel 11 Pro is expected to retain Google’s recognizable Pixel design language, the camera system could receive some of the most visible changes.
The Pixel series has increasingly relied on its horizontal camera bar as a signature design element. Changing the telephoto lens opening from the square format seen on the Pixel 10 Pro to a circular opening could give the Pixel 11 Pro a subtly different visual identity while maintaining the overall Pixel aesthetic.
The newly surfaced photos also appear to show a relatively understated matte finish, particularly on the black model.

Assieme ad iPhone 18 Pro e Pro Max, a settembre, Apple presenterà anche il suo primo melafonino pieghevole, che stando ai rumor sarà denominato iPhone Ultra. Insomma, ormai manca poco, e stiamo quindi andando incontro a settimane ricche di leak che definiranno sempre di più un identikit che già è piuttosto chiaro.
Le ultime informazioni riguardano i colori. E confermano quanto emerso a inizio giugno: il leaker Sonny Dickson ha infatti condiviso due immagini che mostrano due mascherine protettive per il modulo fotografico di iPhone Ultra. Niente di ufficiale, quindi: ma è comunque rilevante perché i produttori di accessori ricevono in anticipo queste informazioni per portarsi avanti con il lavoro in vista del lancio.
Le colorazioni delle mascherine sono due: la prima, quella argentata, dovrebbe essere abbinata a un iPhone Ultra bianco (con i dettagli appunto argentati, dal blocco fotocamere al frame), mentre la seconda a quelo vociferato "Deep Blue" che dovrebbe costituire l'opzione scura, sostituendo un ipotetico nero. E probabilmente stiamo parlando della totalità di opzioni cromatiche che Apple offrirà per il suo foldable.
Esattamente 200 cicli di ricarica in quasi un anno di utilizzo, la maggior parte effettuati utilizzandolo come smartphone principale: vi parlo finalmente della mia esperienza con iPhone Air, probabilmente lo smartphone Apple più discusso e criticato degli ultimi tempi.

Per chi vuole un nuovo iPhone senza spendere le cifre richieste per un modello Pro, quindi, si tratta di un'occasione da cogliere al volo.

If you feel like the internet is turning into a place for bots — not to mention by bots — you’re not alone.
Social media platforms have been flooded with low-effort AI slop, while even once renowned publications are doubling down on the tech by outsourcing writing and editing responsibilities to the tech. In June, Cloudflare found that website traffic from AI agents and bots had overtaken human-generated traffic for the first time — even earlier than predicted.
In the latest sign of the bot takeover, Time magazine has begun serving ads specifically aimed at AI agents. As Digiday reports, it’s an effort to adapt to a new reality governed by the tech. Their promise to would-be clients: by optimizing ads for the bots, brands could be made more visible to AI chatbots and show up in more responses.
The publication started stripping down its webpages last month from HTML to markdown — text-only versions, which live in parallel to the user-facing pages — that are easier for AI agents to ingest. Alongside these new pages, the company is using AI to generate agent ads, which are formatted as FAQs that include a brand’s information and messaging, according to Digiday, and are labeled as “sponsored content.”
It’s a bizarre new tack for the online media industry, which has been reeling from a massive drop in traffic. That falloff has largely been attributed to Google stopping users from visiting websites by serving them with often inaccurate AI summaries.
To stay afloat in an industry mired by continuous layoffs, Time is trying to reinvent itself by appealing to advertisers that want sway in the AI era. A striking metric: the publication said it’s seeing more bots crawl its pages than humans on most days. It says several brands, including online banking service Ally Bank and not-for-profit Project Management Institute, have already signed up.
“Maybe it’s more important to influence the agent than even the human, because with a human you influence one person,” Mobian cofounder and CEO Jonah Goodhart told Digiday. “When you influence ChatGPT, you’re influencing potentially all of ChatGPT. If ChatGPT changes what it says about [a brand], it’s massive and it’s more than any one campaign could ever do.”
“The big idea here is LLMs and AI want trusted information about brands,” he added. “We’re serving that up to them in a very straightforward, easy way.”
To Time, it’s part of a broader effort to sell a Generative Engine Optimization — the AI era evolution of the Google-centered Search Engine Optimization industry — product to brands.
It’s an open question whether Time‘s gambit will pay off and make up for lost search traffic. As Digiday points out, it could even backfire if tech platforms like Google were to change the rules by penalizing AI-oriented ad spam or serving markdown pages aimed at bots that differ from what human users see.
In short, there’s no guarantee it will work, but Time is experimenting regardless.
Time chief operating officer Mark Howard told Digiday that “this is brand new, and we believe that we are paving the first path forward here.”

Le lancette corrono, e il conto alla rovescia è quasi agli sgoccioli: perché il lancio del nuovo Pixel Watch 5, che arriverà assieme ai Pixel 11, è fissato per il 12 agosto. Questione di giorni: e infatti Google ha avviato la macchina del marketing, con i primi teaser ufficiali che vanno ad affiancarsi ai leak che ormai ci hanno anticipato tutto o quasi.
Il video appena rilasciato da Mountain View è breve, incisivo e curioso. Perché big G sceglie di puntare su un aspetto di Pixel Watch 5 che sicuramente non rappresenta una novità rispetto alle generazioni precedenti: il design, che resta praticamente fedele a quello della primissima generazione.
E fa leva sul design per lanciare una frecciatina all'Apple Watch: "Imagine a watch that tracks your health, sleep and fitness…but still has the decency to look like a watch". Letteralmente: "immagina un orologio capace di tracciare la tua salute, il sonno, l'attività fisica... ma che ha ancora la decenza di avere l'aspetto di un orologio" (volendo essere meno legnosi, appiccicati alla lettere e più diretti "ma che sembra comunque un orologio").
